Fibre Leased Lines
Higher Speeds, Faster Uploads, Good Reliability and Better Support. Leased lines have many advantages compared to standard business broadband connections.
With speeds from 10Mbps right up to 10Gbps, Flaming’s Fibre Leased Line services are ideal for companies that require their Internet and Cloud / Remote working solutions to be rock solid and fast. Flaming’s Fibre Leased Lines deliver a fibre connection using Ethernet technology right into your building. We will connect you directly to the core network. Unlike copper-based services (such as broadband), the speed is guaranteed and will not vary regardless of how far your building is from the network or the number of businesses on the BT Exchange.

Maximum choice
We work with a wide range of carriers to provide Fibre Leased Lines enabling you to select the access service or combination of services that best meets your requirements.
High performance and reliability
Fibre Leased Lines deliver the highest quality performance. There is no copper involved and services are delivered with uncontended bandwidth. Fix times for fibre are also the fastest, with the option for additional resilience, failover and aggregated bandwidth by using our SD-WAN service.
Simple, cost effective bandwidth scaling
By putting in a high speed 100Mbps or 1Gbps bearer you can increase the committed data rate as the needs of your business grow, all without the need for new network infrastructure to be installed. For example, start with 10Mbps over a 100Mbps fibre bearer, increasing to 20Mbps in a few months’ time, quickly and without major additional cost or additional install fees.
Business Benefits

Questions & Answer’s
Question:
What is a Fibre Leased Line?
Answer:
A Fibre Leased Line, also referred to as Ethernet over Fibre, is a dedicated point to point circuit that uses fibre from your premises to the nearest point that connects to a carriers backhaul network (e.g. within a carrier Point of Presence). Today Ethernet is the most common underlying technology used over which IP services can be run.
Question:
What are Bearer and Committed Data Rate?
Answer:
The bearer is the physical fibre circuit which can support different speeds depending on the bearer type – e.g. 100Mbps or 1Gbps. The Committed Data Rate (CDR) is the actual (logical) bandwidth supported by the service provided, which would be either equal to or less than the bearer speed. In this way you can start with a lower CDR, say 20Mbps on a 100Mbps bearer, but then upgrade later without the need to install a new bearer.
Question:
Can one Fibre Lease Line be backed up by another, and if so would it be diverse?
Answer:
Yes, you can back up one Fibre Leased Line with another and there are various levels of carrier and fibre route diversity that can be delivered.
